How it works

No GP referral is needed. Start with a hearing assessment and we take it from there.

1. Hearing assessment

A full diagnostic hearing test shows the type and degree of any hearing loss.

2. Your options explained

If hearing aids will help, we explain the styles, features and prices that fit your results and your daily life.

3. Trial and fitting

Most models can be trialled before you buy, depending on stock. Your hearing aids are programmed to your test results and fitted for comfort.

4. Follow-up care

Your price includes the fitting and up to two follow-up appointments to fine-tune your settings.

Prices and what’s included

Hearing aids range from about R14,550 to R106,500 a pair, including the fitting fee. The price depends on the technology level, style, charger and accessories. You get an exact quote after your assessment.

Trials available

Try most models before you decide. Trials depend on stock. If you go ahead with the same model, the trial fitting counts towards your included appointments.

3-year warranty

Purchased hearing aids carry a 3-year warranty on the devices and a 1-year warranty on the charger.

Fitting included

Prices include programming and fitting, plus up to two follow-up appointments.

Medical aid

We are contracted to most medical aids that are part of the Board of Healthcare Funders (BHF), including Discovery, Bonitas and HearConnect.

Many schemes have a hearing aid benefit, so check yours before your appointment.

Technology levels, in plain language

Most ranges come in several technology levels. Higher levels add more automatic processing for noisy and changing listening situations, such as restaurants and group conversations. Lower levels suit quieter, more predictable days. We help you choose a level that matches how you actually live, not the most expensive one.

Can’t come to us? We come to you.

We offer hearing tests, hearing aid fittings and follow-up care at your home, a retirement facility or any quiet place that suits you.
