What is an Audiologist?
An Audiologist is a healthcare practitioner who specializes in diagnosing hearing and balance related disorders. Audiologists treat and manage all types of hearing loss. Many individual’s are unaware of the complexity of audiology and the scope of practice of our profession.
Audiologists select and fit hearing aids for individuals diagnosed with hearing loss. Audiologists may work in schools, special schools, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, community clinics or private practice.

Full time Audiologist:

- BSc Audiology (University Of Cape Town) with Honours
- SASLHA Award for Top Clinical Student in all 4 years of study

- Advanced Hearing aid technology

Part- time Audiologist:
Zay-yan Buggas
Qualifications:
- BSc Audiology (University Of Cape Town) with Honours
- SASLHA Award for Top Clinical Student in all 4 years of study

- Auditory Brainstem Response Testing (ABR)
- Newborn Hearing testing
- Advanced Paediatric Hearing aid technology

I strive to ensure that all my clients experience a comfortable and positive hearing journey. Whether it be having to cope with a newly diagnosed hearing loss, adjusting to hearing aids, or just hoping to improve general ear health. I will be there for my clients every step of the way!
